Paula Abdul heating up with record-label owner Jeff Bratton

Paula Abdul may be busy filming The X Factor, but her love life is just as active! Life & Style can reveal that the former American Idol judge, 49, is dating Cascine record-label owner Jeff Bratton.

Jeff and Paula were seen together on July 5 at the airport in LA -- and had his arm around her. The two were first spotted together on June 10, dining at NYC's Indochine restaurant. "They sat in a booth with a guy friend," an eyewitness tells Life & Style. "It was a mellow low-key dinner, and they were attentive to each other."

And even Paula has admitted to being close with Jeff. She worked with him and Shine 2009, a band on his label, in the spring. "I'm close with Jeff Bratton from Cascine and love what they're doing with the label," she's said.

Wearing white jeans and a brown sweater, the Straight Up singer looked comfortable with her man as they strolled through arrivals.
Her romantic break comes after she admitted she would be spending the July 4th holiday weekend getting some 'R&R'.
She Tweeted: 'I'm still decompressing from all the #TheXFactorUSA #Seattle festivities. WHAT A WEEK! should be a fun, long weekend too! :)
'Getting in some R&R this weekend. some people don't have to work Monday! YES! what are you doing for your day off?
